No one knows better what it is like to be participating in skating competitions than the people who are there! For competitive figure skaters, representing their country internationally is a high honor and crowning achievement in their respective careers, especially when it's for the first time or, perhaps, their first time medalling.

Worldwide Ice (WWI) brings together information and photographs from around the world -- Junior Grand Prix and Senior "B" competitions, plus spring and summer international development events, can all find a collective home here.

The pictures featured in our photography section have been submitted by team leaders/staff, athletes and their families. Please let us know if you are interested in sharing your memories or helping identify uncaptioned photos.

Worldwide Ice also hopes to profile skaters who have not yet become household names. Our "In Their Own Words" Spotlights provides athletes an opportunity to tell us a little bit more about themselves.
